We have the best customers!
Those that follow us closely will know that the last year has seen a few challenges, and I would just like to spend a few moments of your time, bringing you up-to-date on what is happening here at Mantex.
Like many other innovative companies during their start-up phases, we are dependent on external capital for research and product development. Unfortunately, last summer we also had to manage a change in company ownership and this process has taken longer than expected.
One unwanted consequence of this delay was a difficult liquidity problem. But like in any difficult situation, it also forced us to question how we operate and do business, and to improve.
Happily, I’m pleased to say that we are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. And once we exit that tunnel, we will be a more focused company, offering an even better customer experience though our products and services. Once again, we can focus on our core business strategy – developing, manufacturing, and supplying our cutting edge analysis technology to the forest industry.
What we’ve been working on
Here’s a short summary of our achievements in the last five months or so:
- We have partnered with Andritz to offer the Flow Scanner as part of their portfolio of solutions for pulp and integrated paper mills.
- Several successful Flow Scanner digester integrations are now in operation. They will automatically help improve pulp & paper quality, day after day, year after year.
- Development of a new product, the Biofuel Analyzer, which will help power plants ascertain the quality of their biofuels. This product is now undergoing on-site trials, measuring and classifying a range of biofuels as they are delivered.
