IVA- The royal swedish academy of engineering sciences hosted a seminar about innovations in the future. Our CEO Erik Odén was there to talk about Mantex and our technology.

We had some very special guests here for lunch last week. Maud Olofsson, the swedish minister for Enterprise and Energy and the Swedish Trade Council visited us last thursday.
Mantex have been working close with the Swedish Trade Council in a project to prepare Mantex for an international expansion.
The government have given the Swedish Trade Council 64 million SEK in order to help swedish enviromental technology companies to establish themselves on the international market.
We are very proud and happy to be a part of this.

The swedish magazines Affärsvärlden and Ny Teknik revealed their "33-list" at Berns in Stockholm. We were there celebrating that Mantex was chosen as one of the top 33 technology start-up companies in Sweden and brought our Desktop Scanner for demonstrations.

Research Assistant Sofia Toft and Biomaterial Analyst Víctor Fernández Cano have joined Ragnar Kullenberg and the Mantex research-team. Their mission is primarily to discover new algorithms by experimenting with different biomaterials in the Desktop Scanner.


A testrigg aiming to simulate a near production realistic environment is being assembled in our laboratory in Kista.

In a first version the rigg will be able to transport wood chips and other biomaterial at a conveyer belt with with 1200 mm at a maximum speed of 2 m/s. The rigg mechanical frame is made flexible to handle various types and configurations of Mantex Flow Scanners. The rigg is planned to be ready for its firsts test in the beginning of november.
SLU, Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet has published the bachelor thesis "Determination of moisture content in pine wood chips with dual energy x-ray absorptiometry".
The thesis is written by Víctor Fernández Cano who used an early prototype of the Mantex Desktop Scanner for the tests.

The first three Mantex Desktop Scanners have been assembled in our production facility in Kista, Sweden.
During
the next couple of months the units will be dedicated for
demonstrations and product tests in close cooperation with our
customers and research partners.
Previously situated at various locations within the Stockholm area, Sweden, Mantex has now moved to a new headquarters at Torshamnsgatan 30F in Kista.
The new headquarters includes a combined general management and development office with a new photon absorbtion laboratory, a product assembly plant and a fully fledged biomaterial measurment test rigg.

Today, the founder team was joined by software engineers Christian Bergstrand and John Erikssion, mechanical engineer Per Källberg and business developer Johan Emilson.

Christian, John and Per will work closely with development manager Fredrik Danielsson aswell as with our development partners and be involved in both core product development and customer projects.
Johan will join the management team as Chief Operational Manager and be responsible for company day to day operation aswell as company long term business and process development.
